Meet Alison, AMFT
Hi, I’m Alison.
I am an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist (AMFT) offering Individual therapy to adults, teens, and children with a grounded, relational, and body-aware approach. I support individuals who are high-functioning, high-achieving, and sensitive, navigating stress, life transitions, and deeper questions of identity and connection.
My clinical experience includes supporting clients navigating anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, complex trauma, Asian American multicultural and intergenerational healing, and LGBTQIA+ identity exploration.
I draw on an integrative, transpersonal approach, informed by my background in yoga, to support the mind-body connection and deepen self-awareness. My work includes depth psychology, hypnotherapy, and somatic therapy to help clients access inner resources, reconnect with their own wisdom, and cultivate a sense of meaning and purpose. We move at a pace that feels supportive, grounded, and sustainable.

My Approach
Rooted in curiosity, embodiment, and compassion, my approach integrates talk therapy with somatic and experiential practices. Together, we focus on emotional awareness, nervous system regulation, and self-connection - at a pace that feels collabrative, supportive, and attuned to your needs.
Somatic & Body-Aware
We pay attention to the physical sensations and patterns your body holds. By tuning into your nervous system, we can gently release stored stress and tension that words alone often cannot reach.
Relational & Warm
Healing happens in connection. I provide a grounded, non-judgmental space where you can feel truly seen. Our therapeutic relationship serves as a safe space to explore how you relate to yourself and others.
Depth-Oriented
We look at the deeper roots of your current struggles. By exploring the under-the-surface dynamics of your identity and history, we work toward lasting change rather than temporary relief.
Trauma-Informed
We work at a pace that honors your safety and capacity, ensuring that our work together feels supportive and manageable, and never overwhelming.
