Meet Alison
I’m Alison, an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist working with individuals, adults, and teens navigating stress, life transitions, and deeper questions of identity and connection.
My work is grounded, relational and body-aware. I support clients who are high-functioning, high-achieving, and sensitive individuals feeling overwhelmed, stuck, and disconnected from themselves.
I draw from an integrative, trauma-informed approach, including somatic and depth-oriented perspectives, to help clients build inner resources and reconnect with their own wisdom at a pace that feels supportive and sustainable.
Who I Support
I support high-functioning individuals who look like they have it all together on the outside, but feel overwhelmed, stuck, or disconnected on My practice is a dedicated space for:
-
You are used to pushing through stress and meeting demands, but you are feeling the weight of burnout and anxiety. You want to move from "surviving" to truly living.
-
You feel deeply and pick up on the emotions of others, which can sometimes lead to feeling flooded or shut down. We will use somatic tools to help you stay grounded in your own body.
-
You are navigating the nuance of walking between worlds—balancing cultural values, family expectations, and your own authentic voice. We will explore what it means to belong to yourself while honoring where you come from.
-
You notice cycles in your family history that you don't want to repeat. We will work together to heal intergenerational wounds so you can forge a path that feels sustainable and true to you.
A Path to Embodied Clarity
Somatic & Body-Aware
We pay attention to the physical sensations and patterns your body holds. By listening to your nervous system, we can release stored stress and tension that words alone often cannot reach..
Relational & Warm
Healing happens in connection. I provide a grounded, non-judgmental space where you can feel truly seen. Our therapeutic relationship serves as a safe laboratory to explore how you relate to yourself and others.
Depth-Oriented
We look at the deeper roots of your current struggles. By exploring the "under-the-surface" dynamics of your identity and history, we work toward lasting change rather than just temporary relief.
Trauma-Informed
We work at a pace that honors your safety and capacity, ensuring that our work together feels supportive and manageable, never overwhelming.
